In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve done something a little different with some of our all-time-favourite reads. We’ve selected 30 classic works of literature and assigned colours to them.
They’re all so beautiful so for those of us that have a hard time deciding, we’ve come up with a quiz to help you figure out what colour to read first.
Once you’re ready to decorate (errr…I mean read), head over to any Chapters Indigo store in Canada to get yourself a set.

I’m apparently a split between red & pink, with pink winning out a little bit.. but I think I’m more a red..
Fun quiz!
I got one of each and two b’s. I don’t know how to feel about this.
Haha, you should read them all
.
I got one B, and a split of 3 Ds and 3 Fs. The thing that is strange, however, is that I’ve read several of the books in the B list, but none in either the D or F list.
I seem to be split between yellow and purple. But I kind of want to lean toward purple since Alias Grace is my favourite book
Great quiz, however does having a spit result mean you have a split personality? I did hedge slightly into the blue and have red one great book listed already, guess I’ll start there. The collection looks terrific!
I’m most definitely a RED, wtih one yellow and purple to mix things up a bit!! Wow – so decisive….
I dont know what color will work for me – 2 b’s, 2 c’, 2d’s and an F. Does that mean I fail?
I got 2 “c”, 2 “d”, and 2 “e”…..not sure what that makes me, except a bundle of happiness when I have a book in my hands!!
Yellow, but I haven’t read any of the books listed. I guess I have to add them to my ‘to read’ list!
I have a majority of a’s (3) but have read several of the books from all the colours! And liked most of them.
2 c’s, 2 b’s and 1 of each d,e,f!!! Very confusing. I am a rainbow and can enjoy almost anything!!
Works for me!
1 e 2 a 3 a 4 e 5d 6 d 7 b
Which colour would I be?
Pls advise when you get a min.
Thanks, interesting quiz
Hehe, you are a bit of everything, Bea!
.
I suppose you should read them all! It seems like it would be easiest if you started alphabetically
I was equally split B,D,E until the last question, which tipped me into green. Perfect match as Funny Boy was one of my favourite novels from my final year at University.
Happy to hear it, Carilyn!
Funny Boy is very good!
The quiz didn’t help much, but I’ve read more books in the Green pile than in any of the others. I’d really like to read The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie soon.
I am definitely a yellow read and I would love to read Mercy Among the Children
I am green and would love to read the True History of the Kelly |Gang

I am purple! Meditative and gentle. Thanks for the list of book suggestions. I now have to add them to my list!
I am definitely a green and have read most of the books listed.
