    Oh, great genre :)

I’m going to read either The Gathering or Blood Red Road…whichever one I get first from the library! There are holds on both titles right now, and I’m on a waiting list!

  9. Darlene says:

Question: Although The Gathering is Book #1 of the Darkness Rising series, it also appears to be a spin-off of the Darkest Powers series. If I haven’t read the Darkest Powers series, will I be lost or can this series be read independently from the first?

  10. On for the challenge again!
